Service is opened for packets and persons.
You can order now taxi with this form. Mobilephone and Pickup Adress need to be correct. We will verify every order by telephone, in other words we will call you back. We always try to come immediately, but if we are busy it is just impossible, if for example cars have rides or are far away from Helsinki currently. But all this we can talk and agree on the phone, when we call you. Your order reaches us immediately, so keep your phone open and available. If we cannot reach you, we will ignore your order.
When ordering pickup from Airport please remember to tell flight number, departure airport, sign text you want to driver and tell what kind of pickup time you want after flight is arrived (0min -> 30min)

Retro Taxi was founded in 2016, family-owned company, where customers take care of the transport Saab classic car taxis and always in style, and serve customers in the best possible way. All our drivers must always be an official taxi drivers with valid taxi driver’s driving license issued by the Finnish Trafi. It is therefore a taxi operations with taxi signs in accordance with the laws of Finland acting quite Official gauge on the car roof.
Our prices are ALWAYS at least 20% lower, than in general in our country.

Frequently Asked Questions
Question: Is your business legal in Finland?
Answer: Yes. We are official taxi-company, 100% based on Finland laws. We have all required transportation-licences, licensed drivers, sealed taximeters and yellow taxisigns. Our pricing is always inexpensive and tempting. We have online credit/debit-card processing machines as well as we always offer you a receipt for your ride. We are 20% cheaper than normal taxis.
Question: How can I cancel the Taxi order?
Answer: In normal orders the booking can be cancelled if we have not found a car for you within reasonable time. Otherwise the driver has the right to charge the start fee in case of cancellation.
In advance bookings please make your cancellation no later than one hour prior to your departure time.
Question: What payment methods do you accept?
Answer: We accept all major payment methods, cash, all bankcards, Visa Credit & Debit, Visa Electron, MasterCard Credit & Debit, Maestro, American Express, Diner’s Club. Unfortunely “taksiraha-cards” are not accepted in our cabs. We also do not accept Kela-fundings (KELA) and City-fundings (VPL).
Question: Why your prices are always at least 20% discounted?
Answer: Because we would like to give the nicest possible taxi-ride with cheaper prices, magnificant retro Saab cars and with top quality service, welcome.
Question: Who owns Retrotaksi corporation?
Answer: Retrotaksi.fi is a family-corporation and drivers have many years of experience of taxi-business.
Question: How many cars the corporation owns?
Answer: Retrotaksi owns many classic Saab cars. Mostly models 99, 90, 900. All the Saab at the moment are produced in Uusikaupunki, Finland. For the future Retrotaksi can also own newer Saab cars.
Question: Why do you use only Saab brand?
Answer: Because we think Saab is always top quality and always ahead of other brands.
Retrotaksis Saabs are Made in Finland city called Uusikaupunki.
Question: Do your drivers have official Finland Taxidriver-licences?
Answer: Yes. We require from every driver a valid Trafi based taxidriver-licence as well as Finnish driving licence. Taxidriver-licence is visible on the dashboard during the whole ride.
Question: Do you have all the required insurances in your cars?
Answer: Yes. We have all the mandatory and voluntary taxi-insurances available in Finland. Additionally our drivers are covered with accident insurance by the corporation.
Question: What kind of rides can I order?
Answer: You can order taxi from us at Helsinki and surrounding areas. You can call our taxi from number + 358 200 66 666 or catch it on the “fly”. You can also order longer rides from/to Helsinki from/to everywhere in the country or even to abroad. For example our “agreement-price” from Helsinki to Tampere-Pirkkala airport or vice versa is 390€, icluding 10% VAT, pickup, waitings, parking fees, coffee break and of course the ride. Also we have offer on 1,5 hour Helsinki-sightseeing for 1-4 persons, only 95€, including 10% VAT. Additionally we can agree price with you on our car & driver to your wedding parties, bachelor-parties and all kind of your occasions. We also have unique 24/7 express-packet-service, where we take your packet, up to 100 kg, everywhere in the country or abroad in record short time, on only one hour notice. So in the nighttime for example, you have a need to send a packet to a hospital in Turku for morning, we will pick it up and deliver it, always on time.
Question: How can I be a driver in your corporation?
Answer: You must go to taxi-driver course and pass Trafi test and Helsinki localization test and sending your CV (Finnish or English only) with possible attachments by email to info@retrotaksi.fi . Fluent finnish language is needed. Good english language skills are asset. On our signed full time agreement we dedicate “own” car for you and you need to make at least small-business-company, “Toiminimi” in Finnish, which then can invoice us with 45-50% reward of all drives (VAT deducted) of the month. To the short time driver we pay at least 36% salary + vacation-, overtime- and sunday- and night-extras.
Question: Does your pricing include Finland VAT-tax and can I get a receipt?
Answer: Of course, always. In transporting people the VAT is always 10%, and for packets always 24%. And yes, we always offer you a receipt, of every ride.

Question: Are you making corporate-agreemets, for example weekly/daily regular rides?
Answer: Yes, we would love to. We can negotiate tailored agreements and if you need, these agreement-rides can also be invoiced.
Question: Do you use any callcenter services for internet orders?
Answer: No. Retrotaksi has own call center. We are constantly looking new co-operative options. If situation changes we inform about that.

Question: Where you deliver founded items of Taxi?
Answer: We are delivering those to Suomen löytötavarapalvelu (Mäkelänkatu 56, Helsinki)
Question: What is good to know about package offer prices?
Answer: Fixed prices are valid when driving direct route to the destination address without any interruptions or deviations.
Question: How can I estimate price for the trip beforehand?
Answer: You use calculators https://www.lahitaksi.fi/hintalaskuri/ and https://extranet.taksihelsinki.net/hinta-arvio/index.html and multiply price by 0,8. Remember that results are always estimates. Driver can choose also other route. Price is not constant it is based on weather, traffic etc situation. In rush hour price can be higher.
Question: What is Retrotaksi’s responsibility of the orders?
Answer: Retrotaksi is responsible for transmitting customer orders to drivers. Once a driver approves an order, the responsibility for providing the appropriate service is transferred to the driver. Retrotaksi’s given ordering number is not a guarantee of getting taxi car.
Retrotaksi is not responsible about problems in phone or Internet connections or delays of the messages or phone calls. Retrotaksi is not responsible if there is no free taxi car due rush hour, weather situation or any other reason.
All calls in Retrotaksi customer service are recorded to ensure quality and order information.
Question: Do you have own safety seats for children?
Answer: No. If customer has own safety seat it is ok. Customer takes responsibility of installing seat. Also customer is responsible to make sure that seat meets nowadays safety criteria.
Question: Are you transporting animals?
Answer: No. Some of our customers are allergic to animals.
